In the wake of Santaluces’ decision to rescind Korey Banks’ job offer, the school has hired Brian Coe as its new football coach.

Coe is a well-known figure in the Palm Beach County coaching community, having previous head coaching stints at Palm Beach Lakes, John I. Leonard and Summit Christian. Coe spent the past season as an assistant coach at Seminole Ridge.

Coe takes over a Santaluces program that was facing recruiting allegations from Banks’ short stint with the program. Banks was hired by Santalues on Dec. 13, but had his coaching offer rescinded by the school on Jan. 19 in the midst of an Florida High School Athletic Association investigation into the school.
